As well as selling high quality wood supplies, we also offer top quality wood sanding services; using the renowned Lagler HUMMEL® sanders. This is through our sister company Aspen Sanding, situated in the neighboring Unit to Wood Warehouse on Cardrew Business Park, Redruth.
Ethically Sourced Wood
We sell many different types of wood and can machine wood precisely – to the specifications required.
We try to source all our wood ethically from sustainable woodlands or as result of natural windfall from storms. Wherever possible, we source wood locally to preserve endangered rainforests and reduce transportation miles, minimising the carbon footprint.
Our Cornish oak is sourced from the sustainable woodlands of Tregothnan Estate and other estates in Cornwall, from trees felled as part of good forestry management.
In our workshop, we have state-of-the-art machines, designed to cut, plane and sand wood with precision, ensuring minimal wastage and quality finishes. All off-cuts are repurposed to reduce waste.
